I got an award!

28 07 2008

Dee gave me the pink rose award! Dee is traveling through the infertility world and working on those IF procedures we all love so much. I can always completely relate to her postings and definitely see her perspective. Sometimes, in the blog world, I feel like I take a lot. I get so much comfort, advice and warmth from all my blogger friends out there, that it is good to know that I am giving a little back!

So, I am passing along the award to some of those that inspire me.

Melba at Journey to Adoption
Melba is also a waiting adoptive mom. She and I have gone through many of the steps together and I have always been able to relate to her feelings, and she always seems to know the right thing to say to make me feel like I’m not really losing my mind!

Sarah
Sarah writes beautifully with openness and honesty that I haven’t encountered anywhere else. She makes me laugh and cry as she talks about her journey through her mother’s death and her own infertility. I look forward to reading Sarah’s blog every day!

Angie at Our Journey to Adoption
Angie is a waiting adoptive mom, like me. I haven’t been following her journey long, but I love the way she writes with openness and honesty. I admire the strength that she exhibits through her journey, as she has had to make some tough decisions.

Kara
Kara is currently finding her way through her first foster parent experience. Her strength and wisdom through this process amazes me and her love for children spills into her writing.

Instructions on how to pass this along.
1. on your blog, copy and paste the award, these rules, a link back to the person who selected you, and a link to this post: “Pink is my favorite color…“. There’s a story of Pink Rose Award and other graphic to choose from.
2. Select as many award recipents as you would like, link to their blogsg(if they have one), and explain why you have chose them.
3. Let them know that you have selected them for an award by commenting on one of their posts.
4. If you are selected, pass it on by giving the Pink Rose Award to others.
5. If you find that someone you want to nominate has already been selected by someone else, you can still honor them by posting a comment on their award post stating your reasons for wishing to grant them the award. 6. You do not have to wait until someone nominates you to nominate someone else.

MommaJen

congrats to you! I enjoy your honesty as the feelings you have are almost universal among those suffering from infertility and even though it’s cured when you hold your sweet baby in your arms, you never truly forget!
