Work

I have been having a really rough finding enough time for this blog lately.

A few weeks ago I came to the realization that I am unhappy at my job. I was getting to the point where I didn’t put forth much effort and I started to really dread going. Then, one day, my boss pissed me off and in retaliation, I worked my ass off the whole day (haha, I showed him!). I left feeling fantastic. It occurred to me that if I am going to spend 8 hours a day doing something, I sure as hell better do a good job at whatever I was doing. So, I have been working hard and feeling better and liking my job a lot more (and they like me more, too. Imagine that!). The downside is, I have to blog and read blogs on my own time (messed up, huh?). So, between being a good employee and being a good wife and mommy, this space here gets the short end of the stick.
But, Riley is doing great. She is so close to walking, but I hope she stalls for a little while. I am not ready. She is really developing an attitude. Most of it is really cute, like when she wrinkles up her nose and breathes really hard. But this scream/yell she is doing when she gets really angry is about the worst noise I have ever heard. It isn’t hard to get her to come out of that, though. Her sense of humor is fantastic. I can get her to belly laugh any time right now. It is great!! What can I say, I’m a hoot! I say this at every stage, but she is so much fun right now!!

I think it's important to like what you do for a job. That's why I have held on to working as a caregiver even though the money hasn't been good anymore. I find it rewarding. I wouldn't worry about not having time to blog, just do it when you do have time.

I totally understand the blog getting left behind! Wait until you have more than one!I'm finding it nearly impossible anymore! 😉

I am in the same boat. Busier and busier at work means less time for writing my blog. Luckily I can keep up with blogs via google reader on my cell phone, but it makes for bad commenting habits! Meaning…I don’t.

My time is so precious, too. When I’m at home the last thing I want to do is sit at the computer when I could be playing with Colt or SLEEPING!

I’d love your password to keep up with pics…though you do a great job of posting on FB! Also…sorry for the late wishes but Happy Birthday!
